All Sustainable Parchment products are made from 100% post-consumer waste* recycled paper that is processed chlorine free.
In addition, many of our paper manufacturers and printers procure 100% of the electricity used in manufacturing from renewable
energy sources like wind. We are constantly on the lookout for the cleanest and greenest source materials available so that
we can bring you the most environmentally friendly printed products on the market.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainable Parchment also recognizes that despite our commitment to creating
the most environmentally friendly printed products on the market there are costs
of doing business that we cannot ignore. Each year, we donate 1% of all sales to
environmental organizations working to protect the environments in which we live.
Our Story
Sustainable Parchment was created in 2007 by a brother and sister with combined expertise in environmental conservation and
personalized stationery. Sustainable Parchment was created to meet the needs of small businesses like our own, that know the
importance of keeping in touch with our customers, clients, and friends, but recognize the environmental costs of traditional
paper products and paper waste. Our products don’t merely provide peace of mind - they communicate your company’s commitment to
sustainability.
We are excited to enter into our third year. The 2009 Holiday Greeting Card Collection is
now available for purchase. We plan to launch new product lines over the coming
year to meet the needs of sustainably-minded small and medium sized businesses. Please
